In a U.S. press release issued on June 15, 2023, the AI Visibility Overview is a new analytics tool that will be released on June 29, 2023 by website building site company Wix.com Ltd. (NASDAQ: WIX). The tool is designed to offer an enterprise, performing a task, a first-of-its-kind high-level view of its presence and performance across numerous generative AI search engines including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity.

Such an innovative functionality will allow its user to monitor the frequency of citations of their brand by AI tools, the value of their emotional character, other chatbots, and AI tools, and the level of traffic received due to the introduction of AI tools. The announcement will be a step change in how businesses implement online visibility going beyond traditional SEO to what Wix describes as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

The Rise of Generative Search and the Need for Visibility

The modern digital environment sees an increasing number of users seeking AI-powered assistants and chat-based search engines to answer their questions, get some recommendations, and find products they need. This has led to the brand presence in these platforms as a new frontier to digital marketers.

Doreen Weissfelner, Head of Wix Analytics said: We have now reached an age of generative search. “AI Visibility Overview provides an effective, transparent capability that allows businesses to find, understand, and act on their brand mentions within AI answers and enables them to develop a presence in this new ecosystem.”

The AI Visibility Overview offered by Wix is part of its analytics solution and possesses a variety of strong features as the following:
