ReadyCloud has announced a major update to its ReadyShipper X shipping software that supports rapid deployment for warehouse automation with new features designed to improve the way mid-market e-tailers work.
Fast and accurate shipping plays an important role in customer satisfaction, especially on public holidays when delivery is crucial. ReadyShipper X is hybrid cloud shipping software that can be quickly deployed to support one or more warehouses with advanced shipping logic to automate decision-making.
“ReadyShipper X has advantages over any other system in the industry. Browser-based shipping software is slow, with limited printing and automation capabilities,” comments Michael Lazar, an executive at ReadyCloud.
“ReadyShipper X runs on the desktop, not a web browser, and shares small amounts of data with its online database in ReadyCloud,” explains Lazar. “This means shippers don’t break a sweat while on vacation, as they can create up to three shipping labels per second.”
With rule-driven filters and tag-based actions, ReadyShipper X can now make an existing workforce more efficient and boost the performance of an automated warehouse system. The concept driving the new ReadyShipper X is the ability to rapidly deploy and scale to meet peak season challenges.

The USPS announced earlier this year that it would add a $0.25 to $0.50 holiday surcharge to all outbound packages. ReadyShipper X is unaffected by these USPS surcharges with stable rates during the holidays and offers savings of up to 15% off Priority Mail Commercial Plus (CPP) rates.
