UK Ecommerce Awards Named Coveo Relevance CloudTM Winner of Ecommerce Innovation

Personalization-as-you-go, which is a component of the Coveo Relevance CloudTM platform, received the highest awards in the Ecommerce Innovation category at the UK E-commerce Awards 2022. Coveo is a market leader in relevance systems that enable revolutionizing search, recommendations, personalization, and merchandising inside digital experiences. In addition, Kurt Geiger, a leading footwear and accessories retailer based in London that is powered by creativity and kindness, earned silver in the Fashion/Apparel or Footwear category for the best e-commerce website. Coveo’s customer Kurt Geiger is a caring and creative company. At a banquet that was held on November 17, 2022, the winners of the awards were revealed.

 

An award for E-commerce Innovation was given to “personalization-as-you-go,” a new capacity that is available on the Coveo Relevance CloudTM platform. This capability was recognized as solving one of the most significant difficulties that merchants confront in the modern era. This feature enables brands to provide highly relevant and personalized query suggestions, product rankings, and product recommendations to customers without the need for large volumes of data, pre-defined persona segments, or logged-in user profiles. Considering that 86% of all e-commerce shopping sessions are conducted by users who aren’t identified, this feature is particularly useful.

 

The “personalization as you go” feature resolves the “cold start” problem not just for first-time or guest customers, but also for customers who browse in an anonymous or private window, come back to a website after an absence of several years, or clean the cache in their browser.

 

Kurt Geiger takes advantage of the cutting-edge personalization technology provided by Coveo. This enables the global brand to collect customer data in a forward-thinking manner by employing AI-led 1:1 personalization to provide customer experiences that lend an air of authenticity to every step of the shopping process. A devoted consumer base that spans the globe, including North America, Europe, China, Australia, and the Middle East, has been cultivated by the brand as a result of its objective to establish a fashion community that is compassionate, diverse, and inclusive.

 

To increase client loyalty, engagement, and lifetime value, one of the most important aspects of Kurt Geiger’s digital strategy has been the use of personalization. To accomplish its objectives, the organization concentrated on the following three important areas:

 

  • The goal of social proof is to improve user engagement across the board by informing consumers of which products are now “trending,” both organically and as a result of outside sources like bloggers and social media personalities.

 

  • The purpose of social proof is to boost user engagement generally by letting people know which products are currently “trending,” either naturally or as a result of external influences like bloggers and social media stars.

 

  • By implementing a “save size selection” experience, which remembers a visitor’s filtered size within the same category, we can make it easier for them to buy the product they’re interested in without disrupting the flow of their shopping experience.
