At ISC East, American Security Today Magazine presented Cloudastructure with 8 “ASTORS” awards, an award the publisher recognizes that very few companies in the history of the Astors have enjoyed.
As an outstanding U.S. Homeland Security Awards Program, and now in its sixth year, American Security Today’s annual ‘ASTORS’ Awards continue to recognize industry leaders in physical and border security, cybersecurity, emergency preparedness – management, and response, law enforcement, first responders, and federal, state, and local authorities in recognition of their outstanding efforts to keep our nation safe.
The annual “ASTORS” awards program is specifically designed to honor outstanding government and vendor solutions that deliver value, value, and intelligence to end users across a variety of government, homeland security, enterprise, and public safety vertical markets. “‘ASTORS’ nominations will be judged on technical innovation, interoperability, specific impact within the category, the overall impact on the industry, relationship to other industry technologies, and applicability outside of the industry,” said AST editor Michael J. Madsen.
Cloud-based AI security platform Cloudastructure was awarded:
PLATINUM Best Video Management Solution – Intelligent Surveillance/Remote Monitoring
PLATINUM Best Video Surveillance Solution – Intelligent Surveillance
GOLD Best Video Analytics Solution – Smart Surveillance
GOLD Best Video Data Storage Solution – Smart Surveillance
GOLD Best Cloud Computing & Storage – Smart Monitoring/Remote Monitoring
PLATINUM Best Cloud IoT Cybersecurity Solution – GearBox™
BRONZE Best Cyber Critical Infrastructure Solution – GearBox™
PLATINUM Best IoT Product of the Year – GearBox™
The results reflect one of the biggest wins in ASTORS Awards history, and over at Cloudastructure the trophies join another 10 awards the company has received in 2022 alone. The combination makes Cloudastructure’s engineering team arguably the most awarded in the security industry for 2022.
Rick Bentley, CEO of Cloudastructure said, “Wow! We must first thank the judges at American Security Today, followed by our thanks to our engineers, without whom none of this would be possible.
Additionally, this award demonstrates the value of getting cloud video surveillance right, which means forgoing easy shortcuts just for the sake of quick revenue. This becomes a Frankenstein version of cloud monitoring that only half works. Restoring security to a cloud-native, unified artificial intelligence platform is not a quick or easy endeavor, but one that requires ingenuity, patience, and discipline. We achieve that kind of quality, the jury recognized it, and the difference is palpable.”
