GPS Insight, a leading provider of SaaS-based fleet and field service management software solutions, today announced enhancements to its integrated Field Service Management (FSM) suite that represent significant advances toward enabling fleet and field service companies to seamlessly manage their mobile devices assets and mobile workforce together.
GPS Insight strengthened its position in an FSM market expected to grow at 19% annually over the next eight years, laying the foundation for its integrated field service with the acquisition of ServiceBridge in 2020 and the acquisition of FieldAware in 2021 management solution. More recently, GPS Insight also acquired Certified Tracking Solutions, a leading provider of fleet and field services specializing in document digitization. Following FSM’s recent acquisitions, GPS Insight has demonstrated its value to the fleet and field service industry generally through a list of awards including Compass Intelligence 2022 IoT Vehicle Telematics Company of the Year, Business Intelligence Group 2022 Sustainability Leadership Award, and the appointment of a Construction Executive 2022 Top Construction Technology Firm™.
“By acquiring existing industry-leading field service solutions and integrating them with our GPS fleet management technology, we are able to offer our customers greater visibility and efficiency to save them time and money,” said Shay Demmons, GPS Insight’s chief product officer. “We have created a powerful roadmap that empowers our end users while increasing our return on investment for both platforms. In short, GPS Insight brings fleet and field together like never before.”
The Field Service Management Suite is tailored to integrate with GPS Insight’s fleet management, empowering business leaders to ensure alignment between employees in both the fleet and the field. Key product enhancements that support the synergy of fleet and field service management include: an app switcher to toggle between fleet and field service applications; Ability to schedule jobs based on technicians’ hours, skills, permits, etc.; team work with long work cycles, such as multi-visit jobs; a live map for a “command center” view of field operations; Timesheets showing jobs performed, hours worked, hours completed, and overtime earned; and to help businesses scale, a rich ecosystem of integrations with best-in-class ERP and accounting applications.
In addition to significant product updates across the Field Service Management Suite, FieldAware for Mid-Enterprise offers a facelift where the web app is modernized to follow best-in-class practices for displaying menus and options, and that Web and mobile app branding is updated to align with parent company GPS Insight’s robust fleet and field portfolio, paving the way for the future of fleet and field.
“Effective field service management software transforms industries, reduces errors and redundant tasks, and gives peace of mind to fleet managers, field technicians, and back-office operations,” added Demmons. “Companies of all sizes are now seeing the value in digitizing operations to keep up with the competition, and the leap in efficiency that creates a better customer experience and drives customer loyalty.”
