Customers of both companies may proactively address vulnerabilities using technical intelligence from KELA on the Snowflake Marketplace.
Today, KELA disclosed a partnership with Snowflake, a provider of data clouds, to introduce its technical intelligence data on Snowflake Marketplace. Joint clients will be able to access possibly compromised IPs and domains implicated in cybercrime activity with very immediate, frictionless, and safe access thanks to KELA’s Technical Cybercrime Intelligence availability on Snowflake Marketplace.
Commenting on the partnership, Itsik Kesler, CTO, said: “Our Technical Cybercrime Intelligence capability will benefit Snowflake customers by providing them with the ability to automatically detect and monitor potentially compromised IPs and domains involved in cybercrime activity. This actionable threat intelligence enables defenders to identify and neutralize cyber threats that they were previously unaware of in real-time, proactively informing them of potential assets used by attackers, and ultimately protecting their organizations from the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.”
By keeping an eye on the most recent network assets that have been hacked and might be used by threat actors in their next cyberattack, KELA and Snowflake are collaborating to assist joint clients resolve possible hazards preemptively. Such assets may be misused as a C2 server or other attack infrastructure, or as a vehicle for assaults like phishing. The technology continuously gathers posts, images, and other information from the dark web in a variety of formats, analyses it to find potentially compromised assets based on context and source credibility, and then distributes the information to users via Snowflake’s API in a structured, machine-readable format.
In cybercrime sources including closed forums, black marketplaces, automated cybercrime shops, criminals’ instant messaging channels, and more, KELA’s Technical Intelligence automatically extracts and gathers possibly compromised IPs and domains involved in cybercrime activity. This intelligence can be simply incorporated into security appliances and is accessible via Snowflake as machine-readable data.
Now that KELA’s Technical Intelligence is available on Snowflake Marketplace, joint customers can use it to their advantage. This enables them to gain the advantages of seamless integration with security solutions, thorough coverage of a variety of cybercrime underground sources, real-time updates on compromised IPs and domains, and the capacity to contextualise intelligence by learning more about the intelligence source and how the asset was compromised.
