T-Systems International is one of Europe’s leading IT service providers and is working with Tech Mahindra to expand its presence in India by opening another delivery center in Nagpur. This is in addition to its delivery centers in Pune and Bengaluru to provide intelligent digital solutions and efficient cloud services to T-Systems International’s global customers.

As part of the partnership, Tech Mahindra will enable the growth of T-Systems’ workforce by building a dedicated team to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions in digital and cloud. The company’s access to the market, Tier II city talent, and competitive pricing would help build the flexible capacity for T-Systems’ delivery needs.

The new center will be located in the Mihan SEZ Zone and will be equipped with a gym, cafeteria, recreation center for employee engagement, etc.

Following rapid growth in India, T-Systems aims to hire more than 6000 employees over the next 24 months and will add professionals with digital and cloud skills. The new employees will continue to expand and manage the cloud and digital functions for T-Systems International customers.

Mr. Adel Al-Saleh, CEO of T-Systems International, said: “Partnering with Tech Mahindra and expanding to Nagpur will benefit T-Systems’ strategy to scale up in India to support our growth plans. With our strong software solutions and global delivery hubs, we will continue to advance our goal of being leaders in our chosen markets by building an integrated portfolio of scalable digital and cloud services.”

Mr. Anant Padmanabhan, Managing Director, T-Systems ICT India Pvt. ltd said: “After successfully ramping up in Pune and Bengaluru, we wanted to tap talent in other locations to further expand our operations and we have selected Nagpur as our next location for expansion in partnership with Tech Mahindra. This will help us exponentially scale our digital and cloud capabilities in India.”

CP Gurnani, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Tech Mahindra, said: “Ease of Doing Business (EODB), workforce availability and access to infrastructure have accelerated Nagpur’s potential to become the next digital hub for breakthrough innovation. The new Cloud and Digital Services Center in Nagpur today marks another milestone in our longstanding partnership with T-Systems and will enable them to grow their digital footprint, capture new business opportunities and help improve the global customer experience and solution delivery to enhance. This will further help create jobs for local talent and give them opportunities to learn and grow in a global team.”

T-Systems generates annual sales of around 4 billion euros. The lion’s share of around 85 percent is distributed between the two promising business areas Cloud Services and Digital Solutions. Consulting services are another key differentiator, helping clients develop their digital strategies. Security is built into every offering. T-Systems will also increasingly rely on partnerships, especially on the scaling of nearshore and offshore capabilities.
