BeamUP, Ltd., the leading provider of enterprise data management for the design and operations of building systems, announced today that it has hired Ran Ziv as CTO. Ziv comes to BeamUP from ZipRecruiter, where he served as VP Engineering since 2017.

Ziv has worked at the forefront of artificial intelligence, helping multiple companies through rapid growth and maturity. In his role at BeamUP, Ziv focuses on the technological vision behind the cutting-edge platform for AI-powered design and management of enterprise facilities.

“Ran’s rich experience scaling data-driven offerings will fuel our product offerings to our Fortune 50 clients as they improve their building management and design,” said Stephane Levy, CEO and Founder of BeamUP. “We are excited to bring Ran on board as we scale our deep learning capabilities to drive cost and resource efficiencies for enterprise facilities.”

Prior to Ziprecruiter, Ziv was GM of Tapingo Israel and VP of R&D for Tapingo Global, which was acquired by Grubhub after raising more than $66M in VC funding. Previously, he was Chief Data Architect at Sizmek, which was acquired by Amazon, and R&D Director at LivePerson and iBasis.

Ran Ziv comments, “Corporate real estate is ripe for disruption. Historically, asset data has been stored in disparate systems in a variety of formats, leading to knowledge gaps, errors and violations. BeamUP has found a unique entry point. By digitizing assets’ data, BeamUP develops artificial intelligence algorithms that use NLP and computer vision to automate building management and design processes. I look forward to developing the solution to this real-world problem as we help customers improve their… Making buildings safe, compliant and efficient.”
