Virtusa Corporation signs an agreement with Microsoft

Virtusa Corporation, a global provider of digital strategy, digital engineering, and IT services and solutions, announced today that it has signed a new partnership agreement with Microsoft to jointly invest in solutions that help customers innovate on the entire Microsoft platform and help them achieve their digital transformation goals.

 

The agreement expands Virtusa’s relationship with Microsoft to focus on developing solutions for Microsoft’s industry clouds to serve customers worldwide, particularly in the healthcare, life sciences, and financial services sectors. Virtusa is investing in its Microsoft Business Group to build additional centers of excellence that will bring highly technical IT, customer service, and customer success roles to additional geographies. With a stronger focus and expanded capabilities offered by Microsoft’s cloud services, Virtusa is focused on developing additional IP co-sell solutions focused on application modernization and migration to help customers achieve greater value achieved.

 

“Customers are at an inflection point as they are under pressure to adopt digital technologies to transform their revenue streams but struggle to achieve operational efficiencies due to tighter and reduced spending,” said Raymond Hennings, Virtusa, EVP and Head of Alliances and Strategic deal. “Our partnership with Microsoft puts us in a strong position to redesign and migrate our customers’ current applications to take advantage of the cloud.”
