Connectbase, The Industry Cloud for Connectivity, announces its partnership with LB Networks for the secure buying and selling of connectivity. Through this partnership, Connectbase and LB Networks are able to offer a secured Ethernet transparency option to connectivity buyers utilizing the Connectbase platform.

“Through this partnership between Connectbase and LB Networks, we are delivering an enhanced end-to-end customer experience with intelligence and security. Network security is built on the trust in data and ease of service experienced by users of The Connected World,” said Ben Edmond, CEO and founder of Connectbase. “LB Networks has partnered with service providers across our ecosystem to provide their buyers with SLA and performance-assured experiences, and now we can bring that knowledge into providers’ product catalogs and offering experiences to help buyers make the best decision. ”

Both buyers and sellers of connectivity will benefit from the integration of LB Networks’ OcularIP into the Connectbase ecosystem. Buyers receive location-based insights and pricing coupled with OcularIP’s performance assurance in their listing experience, enabling them to make better purchasing decisions. Decisions are based on quality and not just price. Sellers are given the opportunity to differentiate their brands, products and services and differentiate them through a performance-assured network offering.

“When we launched LB Networks, we always had the concept in mind of building a SaaS platform to help enterprises and service providers accelerate their business,” said Raymond Chiu, CEO and chief architect at LB Networks. “OcularIP adds security features to The Connected World platform and adds another dimension of information to optimize seller performance and provide the tick that gives buyers confidence that the services are being delivered.”

OcularIP collects and normalizes metrics from the installed network infrastructure to provide service analysis, compliance reporting and visualization. The Assured Ethernet capability enabled by OcularIP expands the value Connectbase adds to the market and transforms the way connectivity is bought and sold.
