In order to secure the “Listen2Future” initiative, Elliptic Labs, a leading provider of AI Virtual Smart SensorsTM and a global pioneer in AI software, collaborated with a group of European businesses led by Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX). This project will make it possible to create new hardware audio sensors that are integrated with Elliptic Labs’ AI Virtual Sensor PlatformTM and aimed at future smart homes with cutting-edge features for human wellbeing. With funding from industry investments, subsidies from participating European nations, and the EU’s Key Digital Technologies Joint Undertaking (KDT-JU) initiative, the three-year Listen2Future project has been granted 30 million euros.
lliptic Labs’ involvement in the Listen2Future initiative will center on two upcoming developments: Elliptic Labs’ AI Virtual Connection SensorTM enables a sensor “mesh network” to enhance and expand this health monitoring to wider physical regions across various, dissimilar smart home devices. 1) Human wellness monitoring with a focus on fall detection. Elliptic Labs will use AI, ultrasound, and sensor fusion to accomplish these aims while ensuring privacy and data protection by utilizing the AI Virtual Smart Sensor Platform.
“Representing the EU in the Listen2Future project with Infineon truly shows that Elliptic Labs holds a meaningful technological leadership role within Europe and globally,” said Laila Danielsen, CEO of Elliptic Labs. “Being recognized as a thought leader in AI, ultrasound, and sensor fusion enables Elliptic Labs to help define the future role of technology in our lives. This further strengthens our team to continue our push to create devices that are smarter, greener, and more human-friendly.”
