KnowBe4, the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, today announced its partnership with the Pinellas Education Foundation for their Enterprise Village initiative.FAVE1

For over 30 years, Enterprise Village has provided a hands-on learning experience for Pinellas County’s fifth grade students. The business education program takes place during the school year and is available to students 6 weeks after they begin learning business education goals in their classrooms, including how to write checks, use a debit card, apply for a job and more. Students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in the village, which is set up much like a shopping mall, and to work in one of the many businesses and get involved as consumers by shopping at a company-sponsored store.

Through its partnership with the Pinellas Education Foundation, KnowBe4 will have a showcase in the Enterprise Village for students to gain work experience in roles including Director of Fun and Shenanigans, Sales Representative, IT Support Specialist, and others. Additionally, the KnowBe4 storefront will feature an arcade that students can explore during their breaks with the fun and interactive KnowBe4 game, Password Zapper, to learn more about password security and have a chance to win a prize.

“KnowBe4 is thrilled to partner with the Pinellas Education Foundation to support Enterprise Village this year,” said Kelly Barrena, VP of Global Talent Brand and Outreach, KnowBe4. “As a Tampa Bay native, I was privileged to attend Enterprise Village as a child and it remains a core positive and fun memory for me. KnowBe4 looks forward to our continued partnership as an opportunity to raise cybersecurity awareness among Pinellas County students and support our local community.”
