AWS Marketplace, a digital catalogue with thousands of software listings from independent software vendors that makes it simple to find, test, buy, and deploy software that runs on Amazon Web Services, has just added Arrcus’ FlexMCN solution. Arrcus is a hyper scale networking software company and a leader in core, edge, and multi-cloud network infrastructure (AWS). Using Arrcus FlexMCN, on-premises data center workloads may be connected to clouds using any type of underlay connection for hybrid cloud use cases. The most adaptable multi-cloud solution in the market can now link workloads on Amazon to workloads in the cloud, enabling those other workloads to benefit from AWS’s capabilities. FlexMCN is a tool that colocation providers may use to link client workloads between Amazon and other clouds.
Customers of AWS will now have direct access to FlexMCN through AWS Marketplace. The FlexMCN platform enables Amazon users to simplify the acquisition and administration of Arrcus inside of their AWS Marketplace account.
“We are very excited about making our FlexMCN solution available in AWS Marketplace,” said Sanjay Kumar, vice president of product management and marketing at Arrcus. “With FlexMCN on AWS, businesses can benefit from Arrcus’ best-in-class ACE networking technology and leverage the power of AWS. These businesses also have the flexibility to choose between FlexMCN’s pay-as-you-go and bring-your-own-license consumption models.”
A distinctive solution that offers a uniform cloud architecture for distributed deployments is FlexMCN. In order to install the data plane software ArcEdge, FlexMCN consists of ArcOS for deployments in the data center and edge and ArcOrchestrator for the management plane. ArcOrchestrator and ArcEdge can be set up on-premises, at a colocation facility, or in a private or public cloud. For dispersed cloud systems, FlexMCN offers an edge-to-multi-cloud connection that is safe and configurable.
FlexMCN is prepared to provide multi-cloud connection as a managed service thanks to its support for multitenancy and role-based access management. Also protecting cloud workloads against intruders is Arrcus FlexMCN. With its egress fully qualified domain name (FQDN) filtering, any ArcEdge/VPC may have granular control over internet-bound traffic from a central location.
