CathVision, a medical technology company developing innovative electrophysiology solutions to improve clinical decision-making in the EP lab, today announced that the ECGenius™ System will be featured in a spotlight session at the 28th Annual International AF Symposium in Boston, March 2nd to 31st. through February 4th will be presented new technologies in cardiac electrophysiology.1
The ECGenius system, the company’s innovative EP recording technology and proprietary hardware amplifier captures high-precision, low-noise cardiac electrograms to help electrophysiologists improve the diagnosis and management of complex atrial arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation (AF). The ECGenius system received FDA clearance in May 2022 and has since been evaluated during a limited launch at renowned hospitals in the United States.
On Friday, February 3rd at 88:35 amET, Dr. Suneet Mittal will provide a brief overview of his experience with CathVision’s ECGenius system and discuss how artificial intelligence (AI) based algorithms can positively impact cardiac ablation procedures when high-quality electrogram (EGM) data form the basis for analyses. dr Mittal will explain how CARDIALYTICS™ AI algorithms integrate machine learning to automate EGM analysis e.g. to identify pulmonary vein (PV) isolation.2 He will also show how data from the ECGenius system compared to legacy EP systems impacts the performance of AI algorithms.
