CerebrumX Labs Inc. (CerebrumX), an AI-driven automotive data services and management platform, announced its partnership with Toyota to deliver valuable, real-time insights aimed at making connected fleet operations safer and more cost-effective. The partnership is focused on reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) for fleets by leveraging embedded telematics data from participating Toyota vehicles to drive data-driven decision making and improved performance.
With potential access to millions of vehicles and owner-authorized ride data, CerebrumX is currently working with fleet service providers across North America. The Augmented Deep Learning Platform (ADLP) collects and analyzes embedded data directly from participating Toyota-connected vehicles to provide their fleet manager customers with insight into real-time streaming telematics, vehicle health data, collisions, service alerts, driver behavior and performance. ADLP further integrates this data with contextual information such as weather, maps and traffic flow to augment the capabilities of fleet managers with tailored analytics and business-driven insights.
“Connected vehicle data, with its richer datasets, is key to digitizing commercial fleet operations and minimizing the total cost of ownership for fleet managers,” said Sandip Ranjhan, Chief Executive Officer at CerebrumX. “We are excited to be working with Toyota to bring value to this data for participating fleet manager customers to solve fleet-related challenges without the need for external hardware or upfront costs.”
Harnessing the power of connected vehicle data, CerebrumX’s intelligent fleet management solution enables participating fleet managers to expand their vehicle portfolio to include their connected Toyota vehicles and enjoy a variety of benefits. Data enables easy identification of vehicle needs, optimal scheduling of service appointments, management of fuel consumption, analysis of accident data, breakdown prevention and much more. While these insights significantly reduce fleet costs, they also have a direct impact on driver safety and overall productivity, allowing participating fleet managers to control real-time updates and reduce downtime for lower operational costs.
“We are excited to partner with CerebrumX to continue delivering great value to Toyota fleet customers,” said Josh Batie, general manager of Digital Mobility and Software First Connected Technologies, Toyota Motor North America. “By leveraging connected vehicle data, we’re helping our partners deliver the actionable insights needed for a safer, more efficient fleet.”
